2008-2015 – Media Trainings | Several media trainings were coordinated and led by me. In the case of Spain, the training counted on the support of an external press agency. In Portugal, I directly led and presented the trainings in 2010, 2012 and 2015
2008 – Global Water R&D Center announcement | Coordination of two press conferences the same day (Madrid in the morning and Tarragona in the afternoon) to announce the construction of a Global Water R&D Center
2009-2012 | Divestitures & Shutdowns In this period, I coordinated internal and external communications related with the shutdown of Bilbao factory, XLA fiber plant in Tarragona and Styrofoam plant in Portugal; divestiture of Camarma factory and waves of restructuring due to the financial crisis
2009 – 30 years of Dow in Portugal & Expansion plans | On July 7th and July 8th Dow celebrated 30 years of its presence in Portugal and the start-up of newly expanded MDI Plant and the start-up of STYROFOAM™ line 2 in Estarreja, Portugal with internal and external stakeholders.
2010 – Dow Live Earth Run for Water in Iberian region | A global campaign was launched by Dow to raise the awareness on water scarcity. In Portugal and Spain a series of activities were implemented, including a walk along La Pineda beach with more than 1,400 participants.
2011 – Global Water R&D Center inauguration | Dow Water & Process Solutions, a business unit of The Dow Chemical Company, celebrated the grand opening of the Global Water Technology Development Center at the Dow facilities in a ceremony June 9 in Tarragona, Spain. I´ve organized the event at Tarragona site (with a Gallery Walk showing various businesses of Dow), a gala dinner for more than 100 customers and external and internal communications activities, besides the interaction with the Ministry of Innovation, US Embassy in Madrid and other key officials.

2013 – Media Relations activities at K-Show in Dusseldorf | The Dow Chemical Company showcases its world class brands, technologies and new innovations from its Performance Plastics franchise at K 2013, the largest global gathering of the plastics and rubber industry in Dusseldorf, Germany, October 16-23. Using the theme «Solutionism at K», Dow highlighted how new levels of innovation and collaboration in key markets and value chains are enabling breakthrough solutions across the plastics industry.
2014 – Expoquimia tradeshow in Barcelona | Dow Chemical Ibérica exhibited its latest advances in technologies and products that contribute to the development of smart cities at the Expoquimia 2014 international exhibition, which took place in Barcelona from 30 September to 3 October. Dow’s stand, located opposite the Water & Energy common area, displayed solutions from fields as varied as drinking water treatment and water reuse, flooring, insulation, energy efficiency, efficient packaging, green and cool roofing, gas treatment and latest generation technologies, among others.
2014 – Expoquimia tradeshow in Barcelona | Final Report
2015 – Conference “Portugal and the Industry” | Dow invited business leaders, policy-makers, opinion leaders and customers to the «Portugal and Industry» conference, organized on June 3 at the Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lisbon, with the aim of demonstrating the solutions of seven of its businesses and discussing the future of industry in Portugal.
