In Journalism

While I was studying Journalism at Cásper Líbero Foundation (1993-1997), I had the chance to start doing some practices at Gazeta Television and Jovem Pan Radio.

In the latest year of the University, I decided to apply and was selected to do an intensive Journalism Course at “O Estado de Sao Paulo”, one of the most prestigious newspapers of Brazil.

From 1997 to 2006, I worked in several types of media: two radios, one television (Rede Globo), Agência Estado press agency, Jornal da Tarde newspaper, Itpress (communications agency specialized in corporate magazines and newsletters), PSN.com and Veja magazine.

During this period, except for my work at PSN.com as an editor of sports, I always covered macroeconomic topics such unemployment, trade, markets, enterprises, consumer rights, etc.

To be prepared and more informed, I made several courses in Financial and a post-grade in Trade at FAAP and started a post-grade in Administration at FGV.

Moreover, I have a diploma as radio and television speaker that officially allows me to work in both areas in Brazil.f

In Corporate Communications

Since 2006, I have been working at The Dow Chemical Company in both Latin America and Europe, an amazing journey that allowed working in Geographic and Business Communications, handling a large variety of projects.

Media trainings, crisis communications projects, events such 50 years of Dow in Brazil, coordination of a quarterly magazine, development of speeches, key messages and talking points, briefing book for high-level visits, internal and external forums, technical seminars, tradeshows, interviews with national and trade media, newsletter development, website content development and, more recently, social media tools development.

Specially in Spain, I am an active member of some associations such as FEIQUE, AmCham Spain, CICLOPLAST and PlasticsEurope, besides Dircom, where I had the chance to collaborate in some publications.
